An open-air cooperatively run farmers' market. Together since 1992 and continuing to provide fresh locally grown produce at a fair price to our community.

Home Heritage Concerts
Home Savings Bank Plaza Concerts are held on select Thursday evenings at the corner of Main and Water Streets. All concerts 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Rain date for most of the concerts will be the following Thursday. For more information call Home Savings Bank at (330) 673-9827. All concerts are FREE. Bring your own chair. Bring a friend.

2nd Annual Downtown Art & Wine Festival
Local wineries will offer wine tastings on the plaza. Local artists will display their work on the plaza and in local businesses throughout the downtown. Participants will be encouraged to visit all of the art displays and will be given a raffle ticket to be stamped at each art exhibit.
The completed raffle tickets will then be entered into a drawing for various prizes.

2nd Annual Downtown Ghost Walk
Ghost Walk will focus on tales of haunted Kent in the downtown area and the residential historic district on and around West Main Street. Attendees will tour the neighborhoods on foot as storytellers share tales of haunted Kent at stops along the way. Sponsored in cooperation with the Kent Historical Society.

Kent's 2007 CiderFest featured Hot Cider and Carmel Apples from Beckwith’s Orchards, Dance Performance by The Portage Arts Academy, Old Fashioned Cider Press Demonstration with the Mark and Barb Strickler, Baked Goods by Stahl’s Bakery, Children's Art Table with Nonnie Swann, Pumpkin Coloring.

42nd Annual Kent State Folk Festival
The Kent State Folk Festival is the second oldest continuously produced folk festival on a college campus. Started in the 1960s by a group of Kent State students catching hold of the folk revival, the festival continues to preserve folk and heritage music through concerts, workshops and educational programs.

12th Annual Festival of Lights
Begins at 5:30 p.m. with musical entertainment. Santa arrives at 6:00 p.m. We encourage families to bring cameras for a photo with Santa. Free hot chocolate and doughnuts. Kent Area Chamber of Commerce and the downtown merchants are providing horse drawn carriage rides. Many merchants — extended business hours.

Make Mine With Ice*
Watch in awe as talented artists create eagels, griffins, and teddy bears from solid blocks of ice. Make Mine with Ice takes place in the Home Savings Bank Plaza in downtown Kent. Hot beverages and foods are made available by local businesses.
